Is It Bad To Give Dogs Vitamins And Supplements At The Same Time?

So I have a medium size dog (roughly 60 lbs & about 4 yrs old) and I just started giving him “Pet Chews” Vitamins & Missing Link Supplements as directed. Is it bad to give them both at the same time or should i just stick to one? As a side questions what do vitamins do for a dog? what do supplements do for a dog?

Supplements supplement the food you are giving him, help it to digest and be used by the body more effectively. It will be fine to give them both, because one is vitamins and the other is minerals. Give it to them with their daily food. They also help improve skin & coat and cuts down on shedding a lot.

if your dog is eating a high quality diet, and is not suffering any health problems that prevents him from properly digesting his food, then he does NOT need any extra vitamins or supplements in his diet! There is such a thing as overdosing on vitamins! Too many extra vitamins and minerals in a diet can actually be hard on organs to process and could cause problems like bladder or kidney stones, or even liver or kidney problems later in life.
Dont supplement your dog’s diet unless directed by a vet.
